Hello Youth!

The time has come for the much awaited announcement of the first youth weekend..........

26-28 October - Youth Weekend in Manchester

Our first get-together will be held post-Ramadan and pre-Halloween at the new Manchester Subud house. Activities to include drama improvisation workshop, a comedy event (part of the Manchester Comedy Festival, check out the website   www.manchestercomedyfestival.co.uk),open discussions (if anyone has any particular youth issues they would like to talk about let us know), pumpkin carving, seeing the  city and sharing the group Latihan on Saturday evening, cooking and  eating together, planning future events, and general chilling.

Accommodation is being offered free of charge by the Manchester group (bring a sleeping bag!), the only other costs will be travel, a possible £5.00 for the comedy event, and food costs (shouldn't be  more than £20.00 per person for the weekend). If you would like to come but are broke, let us know anyway and we will see if there is anything we can do to help.

We would love to see all of you there, RSVP if you'd like to come: sya@subud.org.uk (Train travel is always cheapest if booked in advance, contact us early and we may be able to arrange a lift.)

Hope all is very well with you all, best wishes for Ramadan to those who are fasting.

Love Stephanie and Salman
