Over $2000 has been raised by SDI for aid to victims of the earthquake in Pakistan. The chair of Subud Pakistan will assist in delivering these funds to the members who quickly organized a relief effort. A member’s house is being used as “command central” for collecting and packing kits containing food, bottled water, cooking equipment, blankets and warm clothes to be delivered by truck to villages. Three Subud youth, including two doctors, were immediately involved in rescue efforts last Saturday when buildings collapsed in Islamabad.
