Post subject: The death as a part of our cleansing

Jesus says: "For the seed to bring life, it must die."
Death is indeed Gods wish for us, so that we can be brought to life. Surrendering of our desires, pain, hate, anger, sorrow and all strong feelings that we have been tormented by in this life - will bring us to life.
This is indeed very painfull. It is painfull for us to go against our own will, wich is coloured by our desires and pain in this life. It is so painfull, it actually feels wrong to do the will of God.
But after the great trial comes peace.
As when Jesus had gone against the Devils temptations after the long fast, Gods Angels came and served him, and the Devil left him for some time.
In this way Jesus travelled through all the heavens, and in the end was sat by the right hand of God, and will forever serve as Gods right hand. Just as whenever we want to do something with our hands, our right hand do it. If we want to write a letter or do something difficult, we let our right hand do it, not the left. Whatever God wills to do, He lets Jesus do for Him.
In this way Jesus won against all the forces that are lower than God. As must we. Without totally surrendering to God in pacience and acceptance, we can not retrieve what Gods wishes for us.
What is the purpose of death? Death is the separation from lower forces that are a part of us and this world. It can feel painfull, because we have never been without them before. And we might even think that they are from God.
"In order for the seed to bring fruit, it must fall to the ground and die." What death is Jesus talking about here? It is the death of transformation into something else. The purpose of the seed is for it to die and bring fruit.
This transformation is what Jesus calls "The First Death". This is The Death that brings healing to the soul. He also speaks of "The Second Death", which is the death of persons physical body when the soul is still submitted under the lower forces of the world. When the person wakes up without the body, he feels the dirt that he has let himself be guided by, and becomes sad.
What are the fruit that come after this transformation of the soul? The fruits are pacience, love, healing, light, happiness, purity, joy. And what is it that has all these inner qualities? It is a healed soul.
And just like when Jesus travelled through all the heavens before he was placed next to Gods right hand: The healing of the soul, the death from lower forces, happens again and again and again. Every time into a better state.
This is what I believe is the purpose of the latihan. |
