My name is Reynor Padilla. I grew up with parents in Subud and I got opened in 1990 (I think). So I've been opened for 17-18 years... but I have not always been active doing latihan.
I live in the Seattle area and have always been involved with some kind of spiritual experience. I have spent most of the last 10 years of my life in the local Native American community and now spend a significant time in the East African and Southeast Asian Muslim communities here in Seattle.
I am a teacher at a Muslim school here in Seattle. Since coming to Islam i have been also finding myself back at Latihan after a long hiatus.. and I find my feelings about Islam to be wonderfully guided in the latihan kejiwaan of Subud. |
