ATTENTION all National SYA Representatives, Chairs, etc.

Please introduce yourself on this forum!
Who are you?
What country do you live in?
What is your email address?
If you like, add a short description of what SYA is like in your country.

Let's get to know each other!...

I'm Heidi Hitchcock
I live in Canada
you can email me at heidihitchcock@shaw.ca (or post to me on this messageboard)

SYA in Canada...well, we have a handful of Representatives instead of a Chair. Some of us are on the west side (Vancouver BC) and some on the east side (Montreal, QC). There seems to be a growing number of young people in Subud Canada, so we'll continue to bring us all together!

Hi Halina,

Would you like to leave your email address or contact information? It would be nice to have a contact person in each area.

Thanks,
Heidi

Hello, I'm Louise from the UK. I've been the YC for the past year, along with Elias Bate, who just got tested in at the British National COngress in September. We've got a few plans coming up, trying to have gatherings in different regions so that we meet up with young members from all over the place. The next one will be in the South West region, and you're all invited to join us.
It was great to meet other YCs at World COngress, and it would be great to keep in touch.
See you all soon, love Louise

GREAT! Very Happy Thanks for posting everyone...but I know there's more of you out there...

If anyone knows of a youth rep/chair/person who has not yet introduced themselves on this board, please contact them and ask them to do so.

I'm going to give you til the count of three, and then I'm going to come looking!...

Shocked

Hello every one, my name is Miguel Pinto

Me and Inês we are the new Youth Coordinators in Portugal, we are continuing the good energy that the youth from all over the world left in Bucelas in August 2005, and for that we are renewing all the area around the youth Albergue, we hope that you all can come there one day and see the new Bucelas energy going.

For any information, contact:
Miguel Pinto - mam_p007@hotmail.com
Celia - ineseco@hotmail.com

Big Big hug to all of you, and hope to see you one day in Bucelas.

I was thinking that we probably could do the EasterCamp in Bucelas, what do you think of this? Razz

Yes, Harun, it would be great if we could use this site to start to get it going. I have been traveling extensively with the basketball team I am coaching and seeing some Subud people along the way. I leave again today for the week but then will be around home until March so can be more active initiating items that would like to be worked on. I know the Ski Camp is coming up and there is talk of a youth retreat at La Source in the spring. From the input we (Rhyana and I) are receiving it seems that focus should be on developing this line of communication between coordinators. Personal focus would be on integrating with the wings, physical and art activities, latihan and Subud organization for youth. Could we continue the conversation on line from there and start to get some activity moving. Your brother Hamilton

Hi Hamilton

Sounds great.

I just posted in here before, so as to keep this thread up on the front page.

Please do drop Heidi and me an email soon, on how we can bring the National Youth Coordinators online more often.

We're all ears on how we can help with SYIA's efforts and goings on. Arrow

Cheers for now.
Harun.

A big hello to all Youth Coordinators reading this (or anyone else involved), got anything to share! Absolutely anything about Youth happenings in your country.
