Post subject: A recent one

I think its time for a fresh one. I wrote this a few days ago.

Antipodean summer or late autumn
Thinking of the chances I've been given,
Thinking of the hope that opens, fading
Sometime to be caught again.

I've travelled far but the way's unclear,
It is not winter but Christmas here.
The truth is I'm still in pain.

A heart that is broken needs to change
A mind that is broken needs to change
A man that is broken needs to change

For some kind of good. This path is mine.

What
Strange, remembered wine
Aches in uprising through my veins?
And how sweet the fuse that through its vine
Exhales tears and rain.

My name is Elias. I have changed my name.
Pray God I can really change.
